its been a fun couple of days. i have been side questing to the max. at this point i am very confused about how to take the next steps of my career. my old priors dont hold true anymore and a personal evolution is needed.
i am trying not to worry about it and letting life happen to me.
we will figure out as we go.
in other news i went to a font party yesterday, had ramen with friends and to a car meet up this morning. i love newyork and i am grateful for everything i have.
watched Tony today.
really good movie.
had an interview. bottled it.
7/10 day
i think being me has a lot of perks. i am grateful for the life i have. and everything i have built.
although i do wish i was colder. that i could shut off my heart and keep people out. not give them the benefit of the doubt.
been drinking like a maniac in the last view days but i am ok with it
my love for sports knows no bounds and as such i went to the us open and watched ben shelton go crazy in men's round 2.
wild day.
also turned 28 today.
i know i havent logged something here in a while. part of it is intentional.
life has been monotonous but in a good way. i have been feeling more and more locked in with how things are going. I think i have good ideas and if i deliver on all the work i am doing it should lead to great stuff.
they say that the great lock in begins from sep.
well, i am locked the fuck in.
enjoying the last days of summer.
its lovely outside and i wanna be out as much as i can before winter is here.
It was a tough day.
I got some deeply personal news about my cousin being sick and it took me a while to recover from that.
Nothing much happened other than that i have got to get my shit together.
Pretty nice day today. Went to lunch with my friends Sophia, Taylor, and Amanda. It was delightful! We had Ukrainian food. We had lots of laughs. Beautiful time with them.
Then I met Sabina for dinner, which was another amazing time! So all in all, a great end to a great week!
went to the duchamp exhibition at moma.
more than this exhibition its the artist that fascinates me. marcel duchamp life was lived in extremes. when i look through his work i see a man so sure of his creative insitinct that he has no remorse of leaving things behind. i am doing a deep dive on his life and i shall come back with an essay.
its been raining heavily in newyork but i had drinks with great friends and we did live sketching in moma.
all in all great day.
been reading and writing a lot past 2 days. now that i have decided to properly get back into long form writing i feel very excited.
side note ; libraries are a top tier place
been trying to create more art that resonates with me. have a fun couple of side projects planned which i am excited about.
Today marks exactly 2 years since I left home and moved to America.
2 years feel long but they went by in a blink.
When I look back at the version of me before moving, I feel so proud. I was a mess back then. I am a mess today also but I remember being so scared when I was about to move. I kept second guessing till the last minute on wether I should move or not. I was scared to leave my family and move to a completely opposite part of the globe. I was so extremely scared of being alone.
But I am so glad I did it. Going to Art school, moving to new york, making the friends that I did, doing the things that I am able to do now, all of this were dreams of 16 year old sid and I am glad I could fulfill them. Sometimes life gets so busy and difficult that it becomes hard to pause and think how far we have come.
For better or worse, I am glad about the decisions I took and the paths I pursued.

banger of a song
its been a rough couple of days.
some personal and professional events have truly rocked the boat of life.
i am honestly a bit lost for words at the moment. i take disappointments well but when somebody breaks my trust it hurts like a bitch.
idk the way forward. for now we just take it day by day.
I give up.
pretty 5/10 type of day today 😔
i love my friends so friggin much
Yearning to be creatively inspired.
Design is hard man.
Newyork has been extremely humid tbh. Just horrible painful sweaty weather.
It’s a good thing i can bike to work.
Other than that i am missing my dog again today.
did something extremely embarrassing.
somebody should really take my phone away when i am drunk.
My friend shivani has been staying with me for the last 3/4 days. Its been really awesome and fun. Its so refreshing seeing newyork from somebody else's eyes.
She is a person who i am very close with and have incredible faith in.
fifa world cup 2026 final.
core memory.
overrun with emotions today more on this later.
back in nyc today. greeted by horrible weather but i missed the city so much i couldnt care less.
also watched the odyssey and i am lost for words. its a visual masterpiece. what also inspires me is nolan himself, a man so in command of his skills and prowess. you see the peak of the art of cinema in every aspect of it.
also the background score is phenomenal.
i miss home and i miss my dog
travelling to sf today for an offsite.
4th trip to the west coast in the last 2 months. its been hectic but any excuse to hang out with my team is a welcome one
idk i feel like i am gravitating more towards graphic and brand design. i am a reallly strong type and graphic designer and i am not really sure about how long will i last as a product designer? should i pivot? should i take a sabbatical? should i join a design studio and work on print design?
i honestly dont know.
i have been thinking a lot about my place in tech. lately i have been wondering what value do i provide in my team.
i am surrounded by lovely and talented people in my team. so passionate so driven. its really a blessing to work with people like these.
something that has been on my mind is am i helping raise the bar? is product design essential to a company or does everyone become a product engineer?
screenprinting day with pauline. 10/10
its been a hectic couple of days
i am really excited about my work and i have interesting problems to solve.
i feel i need to get a bit more faster and focus efforts in priority tasks.
all in all looking forward to rest of this week
watched brazil vs norway round of 16.
sensational. was crazy to be there. haaland was a beast.
Met my friend taro today which was nice. We went to watch the 4th of july fireworks and also I got to meet her sister which was amazing because she works as a sports analyst in a football team and thats literally my dream job.
